freshly graduated!!!
this has been an interesting month so far! i moved to toronto on april 29th, with jenn, who… has been out of the city this whole time! so it’s been lonely yet exciting. luckily she is coming back today!
not only am i waiting for a good job opportunity in the midst of cleaning the apartment and unpacking, but i’m also going to disneyworld next week! i’m a bundle of mixed nerves… let’s hope that the rest of this month provides some sunshine in terms of jobs and living (not like we haven’t gotten that already; toronto’s been blessed with amazing weather this week!)
plus my cintiq isn’t unpacked yet so i have to draw with my monoprice, which i spent half an hour looking for in various boxes.

i’ve been on a danny boyle film kick these days! i finally got around to watching trainspotting. good movie, very intense!
i’ve been battling an art block for the past week or so, and slowly trying to come out of it by drawing, drawing, drawing! i’ve been filling up my neglected sketchbook, getting portfolio stuff done, and updated my resume :) it’s tough work trying to keep motivated but hopefully i’ll end up with a job. something that’s worth all the stress…
i’ll try posting my film tomorrow, or the next day. i hope you all like it :D

I am so amazed with what you can accomplish with after effects… The scene on the left is my really old scene with no effects whatsoever. The one on the right is reanimated, colour corrected, with effects like dust particles and blur. It just looks so much more out together! I’m learning lots!
