“we’re all winners!”

congrats to all the animated feature nominees! there’s a bit of fuss around brave winning the award, but honestly, look at all these beautiful movies. maybe one day, the academy will spend a little more time celebrating these animated films we all love so much, instead of spending 2 seconds on their categories and “getting them over with” in the first minutes of the awards ceremony.

here’s to next year!

i don’t know if it’s a surprise that i’m rooting for paranorman to win best animated feature…. :P 

all the movies that are nominated are great in their own ways! but i really think laika is deserving of this award. i’ll be a little disappointed if it doesn’t win, but if it does, i’ll be over the moon!! so good luck, norman!

2012 had some great animated films! i’m excited for the oscars this sunday.

alas, hotel transylvania and rise of the guardians weren’t nominated, so jack and mavis are just supporting their fellow animated friends. (norman needs it lol he’s gonna pass out from nervousness)

do you ever feel super overwhelmed with love for your sibling and just give this really soul-crushing incredibly bone-breaking hug and just squeeze them and even when they start protesting you just squeal and hug them harder?
